1. Viewing Parasitic Slide with Proper Objective for Suspected Parasite

2. Step 1: Rotate nosepiece to lowest power setting (4X)

3. Step 2: Turn power on

4. Step 3: Iris Diaphragm is open

5. Step 4: Handle slides by edges only

6. Step 5: Place slide on microscope stage

7. Step 6: Center specimen on the stage

8. Step 7: Focus using the coarse focus adjustment

9. Step 8: Focus using the fine adjustment knob

10. Step 9: Scan slide to find specimen

11. Step 10: Center specimen in view

12. Step 11: Rotate nosepiece to 10X objective

13. Step 12: Focus with fine adjustment knob only

14. Step 13: Check and adjust iris diaphragm for right amount of light

15. Step 14: Task Complete
