Example: Beckett reveals that… Theme is a whole thought/complete sentence specific to this author and text A thematic topic or subject is one word or short phrase which ANY author and ANY text could be about Ex: Thematic Topic: Friendship Author 1 expresses that one’s loyalty to a friend can negatively impact one’s choices Author 2 expresses that loyalty to friends reinforces strong bonds and supports one’s mental stability
