Notice that we prefer to “help customer buy” rather than “selling to customer”. As part of the customer journey, eventually, customer will be entice to purchase. The following programs are not necessary to enhance customer “buying” experience, it’s more around how to assist partner in accelerate the sales process or nudge customer toward a buying decision. In this case, we have the regular BIF program to support Business Pillar GTM campaign in a way that would help partner to accelerate the sales pipeline. The collective program is named COSA (Cloud OS Accelerate). Which cover the entire range of topics from Transfor the DC, DataInsigh, IOT, EMM, and Applicable Innovation. You can see from this comprehensive list of scenarios or workloads what is covered, and more importantly the common funding definition which is essential based on ROI on revenue (10X/5X), customer segment (EPG/CA), and with few exception, the rules is 10X for EPG (or amount of funding is cap at 1/10 of the deal size) and 5X for CA. IoT is an exception where regardless of segment, it’s just a lower bar at 5X for any opportunity that qualifies. Regardless of the ROI and deal size, each funding is limited at a total of $50K. Now, a few other things to keep in mind: This is a marketing program with limited funding. It’s base on regional priority to decide which deal to support. Therefore, NOT ALL DEALS will be approved. There may be regional specific funding, above and beyond this with different requirement. E.g. US has a Partner Investment Engine (PIE) that allow partner access to available program and direct co-matching (Tom will be referring to this in his slides) Same as the previous programs, you’d need to get in touch with the Microsoft Account team or your MSFT contact to find out more about this program. © 2014 Microsoft Corporation.
