PROTECT NEW DOMESTIC INDUSTRIES PROTECTIONISM- PROTECT JOBS AT HOME *TRADE BARRIERS LEAD TO HIGHER PRICES *TYPES OF BARRIERS- TARIFFS, EMBARGO, LICENSING, QUOTAS, AND SUBSIDIES *ALL TRADE IS DONE BY FIRMS BUT GOVERNMENTS RESTRICT
