10 FIRST HOUR CONTRACT Print off Contract on Counseling website and fill it out along with parent signature Must have own transportation and a valid student parking permit Attach First Hour Contract to Course Request form and turn in on February 12th in the computer lab Classes may be cancelled due to insufficient enrollment The contract does not guarantee you will receive a first hour class in your schedule

13 SUMMER SCHOOL INFORMATION
Online summer school through Mesa Distance Learning (MDLP) will be free this year Registration dates will be announced soon In person summer school will be held at CDO There is a fee Dates and times to be announced Listen to the announcements for information Talk to your counselor about what you are thinking of taking during summer school!

17 WHAT CAN YOU BE DOING NOW TO PREPARE FOR YOUR JUNIOR YEAR AND BEYOND?
Figure out courses for next year Start studying for the SAT/ACT so you are prepared for the tests next spring Take the PSAT in October 2018 Begin looking at 4-year colleges, community colleges, trade schools, jobs Go on college visits to get an idea of where you may want to attend Research colleges to find admission requirements to make sure you are fulfilling those requirements with your high school classes Scholarships, scholarships, scholarships!!
