In contribution (February 2007), David Britz of AT&T Labs discussed the Terahertz spectrum band which covers 300 GHz to 10 THz.
Questions immediately arise …
What applications might use this?
What technology would address this?
What is the coverage range and possible bit rates?
What is the regulatory status?
When is this going to happen in the market?
Will there be a standards effort and when?
What is the current research status?
Who is doing the research?
