4. Financial Aid Census Date Mandatory Attendance for Vocational Programs
Not paying aid until after the mid point of the program.

5. Financial Aid Census Date What is a Census Date
Census Date is a snapshot of the student enrollment. This is the last time financial aid will make any adjustments to a student’s award before the college disburses funds.
Once the student has reached the census date their aid can not be increased or decreased.
This benefits the college so will can prevent funds from going out when the student is not eligible.

6. Financial Aid Mandatory Attendance
Federal and State regulations state we must take attendance for clock hour programs.
We must also verify attendance for college credit students that have attended and participated by the Census date.
This gives a change to adjust aid before the student is disbursed aid.

7. Financial Aid Paying Aid
Students that are enrolled in clock hour programs must complete up to the mid point of the program before the second disbursement of aid can be made.
It is very important that attendance is being taking so we can disburse aid within federal regulations in a timely manner.

8. Other Updates March is Financial aid Month
Please remind students to apply early for financial aid.
Priority Deadline is April 1
