1 Siskiyou Power Authority

2 Hydroelectric power plant

3 Project Overview Box Canyon Dam was built in 1967
Hydroelectric Power Plant began power generation in1986 The Facility was operated under a Ground Lease Agreement between the Siskiyou County Flood Control and Water Conservation District (District) and Siskiyou Power Authority (Authority), dated March 6, 1984, and the Box Canyon Associates Partnership. This agreement expired in December 31, 2010 Siskiyou County Power Authority took over operations in January 1, Northbrook Energy was hired for daily operations.

4 Plant Equipment Project Overview
The Power Plant consist of (2) Francis style Horizontal 2.5 Mw Turbines coupled with (2) AC synchronous, 3-phase, 60 Hz, Volt generators. The Power Plant consists of two Francis style Horizontal 2.5 Mw Turbines coupled with two AC synchronous, 3-phase, 60 Hz, Volt generators.

5 The Power The Purchase Power Agreement (PPA)
The Power Purchase Agreement between the District (Seller) and Pacific Power & Light (Pacific) was entered into on March 14, 1983 and expires on December 31, 2020.
