1 Goal Setting

2 SMART GOALS Specific Measurable Attainable Rewarding Timely

3 Specific In making specific goals it is important to actually write them, which is crucial in all goal setting guidelines. The more specific your goal, the more realistic is your success, and the shorter the path. Being precise allows your subconscious to come to life + your feelings and thoughts will lead you to your goal instead of pointing at the obstacles.

4 Measurable You need a way to measure the progress and some specific criteria that will tell you when the goal is achieved. Feeling the progress is very important for you to stay motivated and enjoy the process.

5 Attainable A goal should have a realistic path to achievement, and reasonable odds that you get there. It is well known that goals that work best have a challenge in them.

6 Rewarding Each goal should have clear direction and reason.
The best goals are the ones that are personal to you… yours! Imagine how you are going to feel when the goal is finally reached. Write down your intentions and revert back to them for motivation.

7 Timely Time is the price you pay for the reward from achieving a goal.
Setting the deadline will protect you from the following: 1 -paying higher price than the goal is worth. 2 -procrastination 3 -perfectionism.

8 The key force that either drives you towards your goals or holds you back is your subconscious mind.
Goal setting guidelines are necessary for your subconscious mind to accept your goals and start working for you. Otherwise it will work hard to keep you in the comfort zone of your present conditions and old habits.
