Parking at FISC Norfolk is limited due to the large complement of ships' crews present. Visitors are required to park in the large parking lot, which is located inside of Gate #1. 6. CLASSROOM PHONE LINE/RESTROOMS/ELEVATORS
There is a phone in the student break area. This phone belongs to FISCN and is use for local calls only.
Vending Machines and restrooms are available on the 3rd floor.
Restrooms are located on the 3rd floor to your right, as you enter the main entrance door
ELEVATORS: 12 & 14 stop on each floor; Elevators 8 & 10 only on 1st and 6th.
Microwaves are on the 3rd floor near the classroom.
DAU office space in Bldg 143 is on the 6th floor – once you get off the elevator and go through the corridor stop by the security office to obtain a visitor badge. Turn left, we are located in room A611. Computers with internet access, FAX, telephones, and copier are available.

7. COPIER/FAX MACHINE
There a copier/fax available in DAU office space on the 6th floor. It can be used for both copies and incoming and outgoing faxes.
If you are receiving a fax please have the sender include your name and class number on the cover sheet to expedite delivery.

9. DAU Has A Business Casual Dress Code
DAU has a business casual dress code, examples of what not to wear are: please, no t-shirts, no jeans, no tennis shoes, no hats, no beach sandals or athletic apparel.

10. Restaurants/Mobile Canteen
Meals:
MOBILE CANTEEN: The Navy Exchange (NEX) Mobile Canteen is located across from the Main Entrance of FISN Building W143, Due to the Morris Street closure, the NEX mobile canteen will begin parking outside of Emergency Supply Operations Center (ESOC) between buildings W-143
and Y As you exit the main lobby of W-143, the mobile canteen will be located to the left by the compound fence. Breakfast and lunch are served however, coffee is not available from the canteen. Hours of operation are Monday- Friday, and 11:
The W-143 smoking gazebo is now located on the W-143 side of Gilbert Street to reduce foot traffic across the roadway.
Numerous full-service and fast-food restaurants are located on and off the Naval base. Including, but not limited to: McDonalds, Wendy's, Hardee, Taco Bell, Burger King, Chili's (on base), Popeye's Chicken, Subway, and Ruby's Tuesday.

If you lose money in any of the machines or any personal items, please let the your training tech know and they will assist you. Also note that our recycle bins are located under the television (one for aluminum and one for plastic), paper recycle boxes are located in each classroom near the doors.
