Choices that matter: ECI in a new era

2 ECIA (VC) are the Victorian peak body representing those involved with or interested in early childhood intervention Our vision is for young children of all abilities to fully participate in family and community life

3 Our purpose is to lead and strengthen professionals and organisations that provide early intervention support services for families and their young children with a disability and / or developmental delays

4 Encompassing… Communications, information and engagement Family readiness for ECI providers Capacity building and upskilling Taking advantage of diagnostic tools to measure readiness Targeted supports for individual ECI providers

A training package to support ECI practitioners with meeting the standards of evidence based best practice The National Guidelines on Best Practice ECI Victorian Standards Victorian Early Years Learning and Development (VEYLDF) From induction to advanced practitioner training, this project will provide opportunities for practitioners to upskill and implement best practice
