The circulatory system transports oxygen, nutrients, and waste through the body in the blood.

What is in blood?
Plasma: is mostly water that contains nutrients and waste products such as carbon dioxide.
Red blood cells: absorb oxygen from the air in the lungs
White blood cells: help the body fight infection
Platelets: help blood clot
