Make sure you have a valid MyITLab account and can get into MyITLab (first assignment is due soon!– see schedule)

Assignments start soon and are given almost EVERY class day the remainder of the semester. SEE SCHEDULE ONLINE! There are four types of assignments for each chapter: Simulation Training (“ST”), 10% Simulation Exam (“SE”), 40% Grader Project Homework (“GPHW”), 10% Grader Project Assessment (“GPA”), 40% MyITLab

Simulation Training (ST): You can go through this UNLIMITED times, 5 tries per question. Basically, it’s a free “A”. It’s trying to teach you something. MyITLab

Simulation Training (ST): They’re pretty obvious if you know the material already. WANT TO BLOW THEM OFF? You may. Then that 10% goes to the Skill-Based Exam (which then counts 50%) for that chapter. MyITLab

Simulation Exam (SE): You can go through these TWO times, 5 tries per question. Your best score will be saved. Computer crashed? Family emergency? That’s why we’re giving you two tries… pretend your first try is your ONLY try. MyITLab

Grader-Project Homework (GPHW): You can go through UNLIMITED times

Then that 10% goes to the Grader-Project Assessment (which then counts 50%) for that chapter. MyITLab

Grader-Project Assessment (GPA): You can go through these TWO times with no time limit. Your best score will be saved. Computer crashed? Family emergency? That’s why we’re giving you two tries… pretend your first try is your ONLY try. MyITLab
