Overview WRF: Weather Research and Forecasting Model A compressible, non-hydrostatic, Euler equation and mesoscale numerical weather prediction (NWP) system. 4 WRF Prerocessing System (WPS)
Prepare input to the real program for real-data simulations. A set of three programs, each perform one stage geogrid.exe: defines model domains and interpolates static geographical (terristrial) data to the grids ungrib.exe: Extracts meteorological fields from GRIB files metgrid.exe: horizontally interpolates the meteorological fields from ungrib to the model grids defined by geogrid Ref gLite-3.2 User Guide
