3 Magical Realism Graphic novel winner by Raina Telgemeier. Not a memoir like Sisters, but the magical realism is great. Some controversy when it first came out from Native American groups, but it seems to have blown over. Kids do love her books. Great context for Day of the Dead. Book 6 is the conclusion to this best selling fairy tale fantasy series. Conner and Alex must fight the biggest battle to restore order between the human and fairy tale world. Contains an epilogue/prologue of Connor at age 80. RL 6.3 IL L Still have interactions with lots of the characters from the series. Can be read without reading others in the series because the characters are based upon fairy tale characters kids hopefully already know.
