From 2015/08/17, Primax only accept one coding, the coding is the combination of the previous three segments barcode

7. Primax WMS New Barcode Label Explanation
Based on PRIMAX policy implementation and achievements from 2012Y, we are upgrading simplified improvement on labels of the incoming materials.
New barcode is the combination of the previous three segments barcode (one coding).
In order to manage the parts which have module numbers or expiration date, we added 2 to 4 numbers on the first barcode segment ( Box ID) so we will have 20 numbers at most on the first barcode.
Module number will have 2 numbers.
Expiration date will have 4 numbers. (ex. Liquid, paste, glue, backing…)
Regulated parts, which box ID need to have 18 or 22 numbers; Unregulated parts, which box ID keeps 16 numbers form.

8. Adding mode NO. , mfg. date, according to the needs.
No tooling or expired date control , no need to add “0”; need show “-” before quantity; no need to add “0” if quantity less than 6 code

9. Primax WMS New Label Operational Notice
Warehouse should propose a monthly summary on the vendor delivery status, which including not attached labels and the numbers corresponding to sourcing/ buyer/ MC. The proposed summary will provide to BU head, AVL and SCM for evaluation reference.
Vendors, do not follow the regulation on attaching labels, will be announced on PRIMAX e-Supply system.
Vendors should provide printed out label samples and package coding rules to PRIMAX SQM staff confirmed.
After the formal implementation, vendors’ delivery dose not attached labels or labels are abnormal (Ex. Scratched, unclear…). Labels will be attached by PRIMAX staff manually which will cost 10 RMB on each labels. The operational cost will be deducted monthly to each vendors.
