1 Important Note for Students
Students – the slides in this presentation will give you visual examples of how to log in and register for your course using MindTap within Moodle The visual examples may or may not be the actual MindTap Product you are using in your course, but the process is the same. If you customize this .ppt to reflect the content specific to your course you can delete this slide.

2 What you will need to register……
The URL for your campus Learning Management System. unitekcollege.mrooms.net Access Code This will be distributed prior to your course start date To access your Cengage Learning content, you will need the URL for your campus Learning Management System and a method of payment for access. If you purchased a textbook bundle from the bookstore, it likely included your access code. If you prefer to access your course content online (which includes an etext) you can simply pay online with a credit / debit card or PayPal account.

Click “I don’t have a WebAssign account” Accept the License Agreement

9 Enter username = First Name “DOT” Last Name Click “Create Account”

10 Dedicated Technical Support for MindTap in Moodle
Begin by Submitting a Support Case via the Cengage Technical Support Link in your Learning Management System ** If you do not see a Technical Support Link, please contact your instructor ** If you require assistance with any of the Cengage Learning content in your course, you will want to start a support case by clicking on the Cengage Technical Support Link in your course. If you do not see a Cengage Technical Support Link – please contact your instructor.

11 Submitting a MindLinks Support Case
Clicking on the link from within your LMS will take you directly to the create a case form for MindLinks which will alert our technical support team that you are accessing content from your Learning Management System as well as important information like your browser and version, etc. which can help to expedite the support process.

12 Track the status of your case through Moodle
A Case Number will be assigned. You can return to the link in your course and then click Home to access details of your support request at any time. If you click on the case ID, you will also have access to our 24x7 chat. Please provide your Case ID to the support agent if you initiate a session.

13 Case ID is Assigned and sent via email
You will also receive a follow up with the case ID and a link to view the status of your case.

14 Additional Support for MindTap in Moodle
Once you have a case ID you can then use our , chat or phone options. Please have your Case ID available to expedite your service request. Phone support is available during the following times: Monday – Thursday 8:30 am to 9:00 pm EST Friday 8:30am to 6:00pm EST Once you have a case ID, you can then use our , chat or phone options if it is required that you speak with someone in person. ALWAYS provide your Case ID when contacting support.
