Chair Responsible for the overall management of all Branch affairs
Preside at all meetings of the Branch Should be organized, professional and concise. Hold regular meetings of the Branch Executive Committee Be enthusiastic, open and receptive to new ideas 11/11/2018

Chair Prepare the necessary reports for IEEE headquarters, such as the Annual Plan and meeting minutes to receive rebate checks Arrange for the election of Officers on a calendar year basis or several months before graduation Communicate frequently with other Officers. Stay in touch with your Officers by if they are away from campus 11/11/2018

Vice Chair Chair responsible for operating the branch, vice chair responsible for communicating with society and section You should continue to offer your assistance to the Chair. If you find the Vice Chair position to be an easy one, you are not contributing to the Branch as you should be!!!! 11/11/2018

Vice Chair Because the duties of the Vice Chair are not as well defined as in other officers, it is imperative that you take the initiative to seek out areas where you may be of assistance Organizing field trips, special events or speakers which involve additional coordination beyond regular programming efforts Being responsible for refreshments at Branch meetings. Often sharing a “common table” is a good way to increase meeting attendance. 11/11/2018

Strategic Meeting Start with a project plan Identify Key Milestones
Assign responsibilities to the appropriate resources Fix weekly meetings to follow up with the executive members 11/11/2018

Reporting L31 Report: Every active student branch is required to report all administrative and technical meetings through the vTools. Annual Plan: November or two months after the academic year begins Annual Report: May or six months after the academic year begins 11/11/2018

WHY is it important? Branches that do file their reporting receive $2.00 per student member based on the prior year end membership count and an additional $50 for branches that have members and $100 for branches that have 50 plus members. 11/11/2018

Banking Send request to the Treasury Department via e- mail to: concentration- New Officer??? Request a signature card from the Treasury Department at: concentration- , complete it and mail the original back to us. New Treasurers will be notified via when they are authorized to begin signing checks. Online Access: 11/11/2018

Elections These Policies and Procedures are intended to guide orderly, fair, open, and consistent conduct of the nominations and elections of officers Elections shall be conducted with electronic voting as the first option (e-first voting). An message will be sent to all members which includes a link to the online voting website. The online voting website contains the ballot itself as well as candidate position statements and biographical sketches. 11/11/2018

Elections All candidates must be members
No individual shall be nominated for two positions in the same election. No individual shall be nominated for a given position more than two consecutive times 11/11/2018
