3 Main Project The goal of this project is to develop a mobile medical monitoring device that will continuously assess cattle state of health in concentrated and distributed herds. This device will help improve the ability of the animal sciences industry to react to and predict disease onset and its epidemiological spread, whether from natural or terrorist events. 4 Project Overview 11/11/2018

5 Description The point of this application is to provide the farmer/rancher with an application that will display information about his/her cattle in a simple and logical format. FOR MORE INFO... 11/11/2018

6 Technology Used JFreeChart
Creates charts and graphs on the fly, when passed large amounts of data TableLayout Allows GUI’s to be developed and laid out in a more professional manner. It also allows the application’s components to grow and shrink as the main window changes size. Java version 1.4.2_05 Visual Basic .NET 11/11/2018

7 Creating Mock Models Using Visual Basic .NET I created several mock UI for approval. Idea for creating models was for simplicity and logical sense Examples of Models 11/11/2018

11 Adding and Creating Parts
Herd Tree Each Individual Herd would be grouped by breed type Cow List All cows within that specific breed type would be listed here Tabbed Pane Will display individual cow temperature versus herd temp. Track and display where the cow has been and point it out by placing a colored dot on a map. The dot color will be specified by time of day Connect to an Expert System via the web to give a medical opinion about your cow’s health Statistic View Allows the farmer/rancher the ability to compare and contrast an individual cow to the entire herd by the median, mean, and standard deviation 11/11/2018

12 Testing App Tested App by inputting large amounts of data to see how much it could handle and how long would it take Test #1 Test #2 Number of cows 100 10000 Time to load App 3.55 seconds 4.54 seconds Time to display graph 1.45 seconds 2.15 seconds 11/11/2018
