You will be writing your own declaration that will be formatted the same as the Declaration of Independence. Address your declaration to a friend, teacher, boyfriend, or parent that has done something you don’t like.

Keep it school appropriate and try to use some of the language that the founding fathers used over 200 years ago.

4. FORMAT Your name-Declaration of … -Date written
-Introduction-why you are writing it
-List of grievances
-Conclusion-what they should take away
-Your signature
