2. Step 1 After installing the app, connect to your library.
Type in our URL: pinescharter.follettdestiny.com
Select “Connect”

3. Step 2
Select our school.
Select Pembroke Pines Charter Elementary West

4. Log in or explore as a guest.
Step 3
Log in or explore as a guest.
Login in with your Destiny username and password.
Students: Your username and password is the same one used for AR.
Teachers:
Username: First initial followed by your last name.
Password: birthdate
Example: December 2 would be 1202
Explore as a guest.

5. Step 4
Search for a book.
Books that are available are shown as being “in.”
Type in a title, author, or subject in the search bar.
Books that are checked out are shown as “out.”

6. Quick guide to the toolbar
Lists of books by topic
Lists of books you create
Top ten books checked out
List of new books
Create lists of books you are now reading, want to read, and have read,
Access eBooks here
Account information

7. Step 5 After searching for a book, select it to get more information.
Select a book to get more information.

8. Guide to Title Details
The call number (E Yol) tells you the exact shelf that this book is on in our library.
Add this book to your list here
Students do not have access to My Bookshelf or Holds at this time.
Tells what the
book is about.
Suggestions of books you may also like to read.

9. Step 6 Print out a list of books you want OR
write down the title and call number.
Visit our school library and checkout the book.
