2. Target audience
Our target audience for ‘Follower’ is people between the ages of 15 and 60, also people of both genders. This is because there is nothing that would isolate or offend any age or either gender. However, I do think that our biggest audience would be people between 15 and 20.
We may also have a slightly niche audience because in the OTS is shown a fairly well recognised British landmark(Brighton Pier) which means that we may attract a predominantly British audience.

3. Rating/Certification
After reading the boundary's for certification on the BBFC, I have decided that ‘Follower’ would be given a 15 Certificate.
“What might I see in a 15 rated film or video?”
“Any of the following:
strong violence
frequent strong language (e.g. 'f***').
portrayals of sexual activity
strong verbal references to sex
sexual nudity
brief scenes of sexual violence or verbal references to sexual violence
discriminatory language or behaviour
drug taking”

4. Character Profile
This is John Smith. He is 17 years old and lives in central London. He dresses as an average 17yrold boy would, nothing out of the ordinary. He enjoys hanging out with his friends and going to parties at the weekend. He shops in places like Top man and Levi’s. He enjoys films such as Se7en, Shutter Island, Collateral, Pulp Fiction and Trainspotting. He prefers watching films at the cinema but he does like watching them at home and with friends.
When he and his friends watch TV they watch shows such as The Big Bang Theory, How I Met Your Mother and Friends. So they mostly watch E4.
John listens to all sorts of music but the genre he listens to most is indie music and r ‘n’ b. He doesn’t listen to the radio often.
I think our film would appeal to this boy because of the sort of films he likes and also because he likes going to the cinema.
