4 Venus Venus is our sister planet and is the planet that is closest to ours Venus is the definition of HE double hockey sticks Venus is covered by a thick atmosphere that is 100 times thicker than ours This acts as a blanket and keeps Venus at a constant temperature

7 Venus and Water Venus used to have about as much water as earth does but it has evaporated The reason why Venus is so hot is because of all the greenhouse gases and it is closer to the Sun Our earth will become similar to Venus if we continue to pump greenhouse gases in the air

8 How Venus got its name Venus is named after the Roman Goddess of love and beauty It is named after Venus because it is the easiest planet to see and it has a bright look to it in the sky
