2 Forum Objectives Inform our stakeholders of the following:
Why there is a need for a different schedule. Educational and curriculum needs considered. Look at schedule options. Field Parent Questions

3 Why a different Schedule? The Big 3
Shared Staff MS – 6 core Teachers HS – 9 teachers 8 teachers are shared between both MS & HS Current MS/HS schedules are not compatible to maximize the use of shared teachers Maximizing time block versus year long period classes Time with instructor Block = 120 hours 50 min – year long = 144 hours Curriculum Needs of Students Beginning course details and/or books/materials needed for a class/project.

8 EKU Class Schedule Dual Credit Opportunities
MWF 50 minute classes with 15 minute pass time TR 75 minute classes with 15 minute pass time Class is 8:00 – 8:50 Class is 8:00 – 9:15 Relative vocabulary list. = Slot for college class = possible if left class early
