Dedicated to providing the leadership and financial support necessary to ensure enhanced educational opportunities Funded through annual family donations, community donations, and fundraising events. Charitable, non-profit organization Recent Contributions Include: - Electrical marquee sign -Equipped 30 classrooms+ with Smart Boards & LCD projectors - Raised $10,000 for science lab equipment/supplies - Awarded teacher grants - Purchased two i-pad carts - And much more…

5 At Simpson Middle School We Aim To…
Help your 6th grade child make an easy transition from elementary to middle school through: Counselor led core curriculum lessons, morning tutoring sessions for students, Organizational Club, grade-wide activities, and much more Assist your student in navigating new experiences including: class changes, lockers/locker rooms, gym clothes, lunch periods, and schedule rotations, etc. Prepare your child for high school

8:00 – 8:50 – Study Hall, Intramurals, Tutoring, Media Center, Clubs 8:50 – 9:10 – Buses arrive; get ready for the day 9:10 - 9:15 – Homeroom 4:10 Announcements and dismissal Front Office hours: 8:30 – 5:00

7 Classes All 6th grade students will take five academic courses and two connection courses. Academic courses include: English Language Arts Math Reading Science Social Studies Connection courses include: Band Chorus Orchestra Art P.E. STEM – Project Lead the Way *

9 Advanced Content Classes
Each subject area has Advanced Content Classes. More complex subject matter at an accelerated pace Beyond the state and county curriculum Specific curriculum goals and requirements Students are placed in these classes based on standardized testing scores and/or gifted placement. See Simpson website after June 1 for grade level details.
