- The total number of students in Vocational High Schools in Kocaeli University is and it forms 48 % of the total number of the students in the university and it is above the country’s level .
- Aproximately 83 % of the students of Vocational High Schools are graduated from Vocational or Technical High Schools and 17 % of the students are graduated from general schools .

The total amount of the budget of SVET project is
58,2 million Euro.
51 million Euro of this budget is supplied by European Union,
and 7,2 million Euro is supplied by the Government of Turkish Republic.
SVET Project is applied to 30 Cities and 105 Vocational and Technical Institutıons in Turkey,
and in Kocaeli 5 Vocational Education Institution have been choosen as Model Institution .
