Annual General Meeting Friday June 15th, 2012 7:30 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. Westin Bayshore Hotel Oak Room Vancouver, BC.

3 11 board positions will be designated
11 board positions will be designated. One for each Province (10) and one for the North (Nunavut, Yukon, NWT). There will be total of 8 positions elected. Two by provincial representation, and six will be at large. Nova Scotia and Manitoba positions are up for election and therefore require a designated representative. In the event that only one person runs for election in a province without any representation, that person will be elected by acclamation. Members elected by acclamation will be distributed randomly across 1, 2, & 3 year terms.

5 We will need to elect individuals in one and three year terms as follows:
One year term – one position Three year term – seven positions The Executive committee roles of President, President Elect, Secretary and Treasurer are one year terms and thus up for re-election annually. A meeting will take place immediately following the Board election to elect the Executive members.

6 Election of board members will be by ballot.
Only those members who have paid their 2012 membership dues will be permitted to vote. You will be issued a voting card. Only Tier 1 members may be elected to board positions. The length of term a board member is selected for will be based on the number of votes that they receive. Those that get the most votes will be put to the longest term available.
