Centralized managed advising through Student Development
Each advisor is assigned specific programs and provide Advising Services solely to students in those programs
Benefits
- Ensures consistency amongst advisors duties, roles and dissemination of information - Allows each advisor to specialize in a suite of programs - Allows advisors to build relationships with the faculty in the programs - Advisors invited to program and department meetings

- Pros: - A break from the ‘business of the central core’ Students still welcomed at reception area in central core Advisors housed with other student services i.e.: records, Prior Learning Assessment
- Cons: - Not all advisors moved - Disconnected Physical Isolation Spotty contact with faculty and coordinators
