Who are our players? What is the mission? How many levels? What are the game mechanics? What are the players’ duties? What are the rules?

6 The target: Who are our players?
People living in Konya, especially university students and middle ageds. Tourists arriving in Konya, who are interested in Seljuk history and culture. Everyone who want to discover the former capital of Anatolian Turks and to feel the experience of middle-Anatolian Culture.

7 The Game Mission Players can exceed their acquaintance about the city and aware the deep roots and new potentials of the city. Players can discover similarities and differences of old buildings and new buildings and realize the continuity of city's architecture.

8 What are the levels of the game?
LEVEL 1 - Exploring the City LEVEL 2 - Imaging the City LEVEL 3 - Designing the City

9 What are the game mechanics?
A player having phone camera, a Facebook account, and a smart phone for cellular access network and navigation app. 3 levels, associated to 3 different routes Interaction between the player and the Facebook administrator

10 How to play? The player opens a facebook account (if s/he doesn’t have) The player joins the TourbanProject group at facebook The player takes and read story and gets route and duties The story helps him/her for duties The player take rewards after completing duties.

11 What are the tasks? Read the related story of routes
Follow the points of destinations respectively. Take photos of these points as explained by duties Upload this media to Facebook activity page and share some determined hashtags. (f.e. #explorekonya #tourban) Answer questions rightly Mission complete…

12 What are the rules? Everyone can join this activity.
No copy & paste from other peoples' photos. Participants have to read the story delivered from Facebook message, and to take the route given by admin, and to know duties which integrated with the route. And players have to share photos in the facebook activity panel which given as duty.

13 Level 1: Exploring the City
Mission: Players can exceed their acquaintance about the city and aware the deep roots and new potentials of the city. Challenge: The difficulty is long distance of points. Positions of points at the city are complicated. Clues: The respectively-mentioned buildings in part of story.

14 Level 2: Imaging the City
Mission: The hero discover similarities and differences of old buildings and new buildings and realise the continuity of city's architecture Challenge: The difficulty is that the game needs some research for history and art for buildings’ features. Clues: Read the part of story how is buildings’ construction mentioned in the story.

15 Level 3: Designing the City
Mission: The hero can design a new building which suitable for consensus Challenge: These three routes include many old and new buildings’ features therefore there is much knowledge for analyse. Clues: Read the part of story how is buildings’ construction mentioned in the story.

16 Hero’s Journey The Call for Adventure
Total recall: Realize the difference, arouse curiosity, hidden attractions Refuse the call: A new game style, need for speed to complete, long distance, The Mentor: Give some duties on messenger, control the players, and take feedback The Mission The Obstacle: Lack of attention, a lot of visiting points Leaving the comfort zone: Discover the unknown, discover the roots of the city

17 Hero’s Journey The Transformation
The Game Mechanic: Following the steps of each routes The Game Play: 3 routes for finish, finishing fast as far as possible The New Storytelling The Levels: 3 levels included. But all levels have the same requirements Rewards: Taking rewards (mind game)

18 REWARD The first three people who finish all three route in short time can take rewards. Rewards are a mind game (such as GO, Reversi and chess). Moreover every participants can take some small promotional materials.
