We launched the New IDEA website in June 2017.
The goal of the website was to make it:
a more intuitive site where it is easier to access laws, regulations, policies, data, reports and other resources. Top Level Navigation more easily directs users to where they want to go. Right hand navigation takes you to other relevant sites related to IDEA to include the older website (which will eventually be decommissioned) and links to Department of Education and Office of Special Education and Rehabilitative Service sites.
Enhanced the search capabilities
Provide more relevant and updated content, Part C and 619 will be expanded
