Task 2: Implementation of weather type dependent verification and improvement of CV.
The development of weather type dependent verification has an impact on the understanding of model behaviour and its use at the same time. For this reason, based on the experience at MCH and with the input of WG4, it has been decided to develop such a function in the VERSUS software.
Main Activities
Task 2a: Preparation of a Guidelines document for the development of Weather Dependent Verification (WDV)
Task 2b: Conditional verification in different space/time:POSTPONED
Task 2c: Development of a VERSUS software module for the implementation of WDV and CV and an update of the Web GUI
Deliverables
Update of VERSUS package to include WDV and improvements in CV. Deadline: May Actually in the test phase.
