7. Discovery what artist I want to become.
Working towards the next stage in life, so that in the next few years I can work to becoming self-employed working for oneself as a owner of a small business; making ceramic objects that would fit into ones home and serve as tableware.
Making tableware for me means I get to make someone’s kitchen have a little more character, something handmade and unique. People can then feel the object, the hand marks of the objects surface on your hands and to see if you can figure out how it was made.
Finding an area to land that I can call home for my business; a place where I can dig my own source of clay. Learning more about the type of land I’m living on.
Throwing on the wheel is what I enjoy doing, I enjoy the process, I enjoy the preparations because I communication though my hands, they speak much louder than my own words. Throwing allows me to be in control of what I make.
