2 Let’s think… Make a list of your favorite stories. These can be movies, TV series, books, campfire stories, etc. After you’ve made your list, think about what all these stories have in common. List as many things in common as you can.

Find a partner BOTH of you get out a sheet of paper Create 3 columns like this: Fill in the first 2 columns with information from the article. Then, select a movie or book that follows the Hero’s Journey. Fill in the 3rd column with examples from your selected book/movie. Stage # Stage Name Example 1 Hero introduced in his ordinary world

9 Summary Joseph Campbell wrote a book called The Hero with a Thousand Faces. In it he explained his idea that there is only 1 hero story (the monomyth) that keeps getting retold. There are roughly 12 stages in the hero’s journey.
