2 Program to convert NRCC text file and import it into WinTR-20
Program is incorporated into Windows interface; Reads NRCC text file created by the user thru download; After downloading text file, open WinTR-20 Windows interface and click “File” then “Import NOAA – NRCC Data”; Rainfall Distribution and Rainfall Data comes as a part of the Window WinTR-20 system. Using Windows Explorer, go to the “WinTR-20 Executables” directory and click on The following WinTR-20 System Controller/ Editor Screen comes up: NRCC Data - Connecticut October 2010

Select “Import NOAA –NRCC Data” from “File” pulldown menu. Locate the directory, select text file name “CT_Windham.txt” NRCC Data - Connecticut October 2010

Brings you back to the WinTR-20 System Controller / Editor window Double click on “Storm Analysis:” Double click on “Rainfall Distribution:” Note: the “sm” in the rainfall table identifier means this is a smoothed distribution. Try to “Run” WinTR-20 Generated WinTR-20 Error File - No Stream Reach data - No Sub-Area data. NRCC Data - Connecticut October 2010

Warning – do not import NOAA-NRCC data to an existing WinTR-20 file using the WinTR-20 Controller/Editor. The existing data will be erased and replaced by NOAA-NRCC Data. Instead, save the WinTR-20 input file containing NOAA-NRCC Data, close WinTR-20, and use Notepad to copy and paste the data into the existing WinTR-20 data file. NRCC Data - Connecticut October 2010
