1 Parents Gateway (Pilot) Programme

2 What is Parents Gateway?
A digital platform (by MOE and GovTech) to bring greater convenience to school / parents to perform simple administrative functions. Will enable parents to have closer interactions and communications with the school so that parents can better support their child in their education journey.

3 What can School / Parents do on Parents Gateway?
Update Personal Particulars and Details Perform transactions Pay fees/bills & enquire on balances Receive updates on: Child’s progress in school Upcoming school events and programme Parents Teacher Meeting Give consensus on: CCA Registration Attending school’s programme Travel Declaration

4 Parents Gateway (Pilot) Programme
MOE is conducting a pilot programme with selected schools to gather feedback on the Parents Gateway (Alpha) mobile app to improve it further. During this pilot, parents will have early access to the Parents Gateway digital platform, and receive timely information on school announcements, events or other information relating to the child and the school. Parents will continue to receive hard copy memos of announcements and consent forms concurrently. The duration for this programme is between 3 to 6 months starting from July 2018. For TK, we will pilot with the Sec 1 cohort and some CCAs in 2018 Semester 2.

5 Demonstration of Parents Gateway Mobile App

7 Download the App Keyword search “Parents Gateway” in Apple App Store or Google Play Store to download the mobile app*. ‘Allow Notifications’ to receive push notifications. Supported OS Versions: Android 5.0 or later & iOS 9.1 or later

8 Account Registration 1. Tap on “Sign Up”.

9 Account Registration Enter your NRIC or FIN, mobile number, and password. Tap on “Next” to proceed.

10 Account Registration You will receive a SMS containing a One-Time Pin (OTP). Enter the OTP and Tap on “Verify” to proceed.

11 Account Registration * You can also “add” additional child in the app after account registration is successful. Enter your child’s BC/NRIC or FIN. Tap on “Add More” to add the details of additional child*. Click “Next” to proceed. 

12 Account Registration You will see the following message* if you have successfully added the details of your child. Tap on “Continue” to proceed. * In this example, “SN” refers to the first letter of the first two words of your child’s name e.g. Sally Ng. You can replace this by uploading your child’s photo in the app.

13 Account Registration Account registration is now completed. Tap on “Get Started” to start using the app.
