3 Learning and Development on Study Year Abroad 15 credit level 3 module In your final year you study 105 credits ie. one 15 credit option less. In addition to meeting the requirements of your Learning Agreement with your host institution, the Learning and Development on Study Year Abroad module is assessed by a Portfolio of activities

4 Portfolio – Activities 1,2, 3 All students must attend host institution classes and sit host institution assessments, to evidence this students must submit Forms A and B, signed by the institution: Form A: End of Semester Personal Review Form A Form B: End of Semester Personal Review Form B Form C: End of Semester Personal Review Form C (where appropriate, some institutions only have 2 semesters) Where students have a semester of internship/placement they should use the appropriate Form (A,B or C) but the signature should be that of their line manager

5 Portfolio – Activity 4 Evidencing Personal Development from SYA Developing a cv reflecting your international experience

6 Portfolio – Activity 5 Host country Cross Cultural Analysis Report (1500 to 2000 words).

7 Summary Todays briefing is about Erasmus exchanges in the EU; There are other study year abroad opportunities outside of this: For Economics students there is a franchise in Vietnam; For B&M, B&MwithMarketing; B&MwithAccounting and Finance; HRM; Economics; Accounting and Finance and also Banking and Finance there are dual degrees in Malaysia; There are other potential sandwich year opportunities in Cambodia and Taiwan.
