4 What Is an EIB Enterprise Interface Builder – is a Workday customized Excel document in an .xml format. These templates are used to automatically complete a transaction event. This concept is very much like Lawson’s Add-ins. ©2014 Trinity Health - Livonia, MI

Overview Tab Request One Time Payment – Processing Instructions Should always be Automatic Processing – This allows the event to complete without following the Business Process B - Spreadsheet Key – Sequentially number the rows even if an employee is on multiple rows C – Employee ID Employee ID is used in the field D – Position ID Can remain blank if the employee only has 1 position Must be populated if the employee has more than 1 position and must be the Primary Position ID E - Effective Date Effective date in the period in which the payment is to be paid ©2014 Trinity Health - Livonia, MI

G – Reason/General Event Sub-category ID Use the Reference ID for the Business Object Instance The Reference ID is always - One-Time Payment in this format. If not formatted correctly, the load will error H - Row ID Use the number 1. This is used to identify the load number for the employee I – One Time Payment ID This is the Reference ID for the type of one-time payment plan Inserted is an active list of OTP plans and Reference IDs J – Scheduled Payment Date Generally this field should be left blank unless you are trying to have the OTP pay on a different date that the effective date; I recommend leaving it blank ©2014 Trinity Health - Livonia, MI

K – Coverage Start Date This field is used for FSLA purposes and calculates the OTP amount over the specified period; otherwise leave it blank L – Coverage End Date M – Amount The amount of the One-time payment. This value cannot exceed 5 places after the decimal; If you need to reverse a payment you will place a negative sign in front of the value Location for templates The latest version of the templates will be provided as Workday change templates during Releases. 8 Launching the EIB in Workday
Once you have populated the template; you will launch the EIB Integration in Workday. Go to the search box and type “Launch” and choose Launch/Schedule Integration Next you will search for the latest version of the Request One Time Payment EIB (the latest version will ALWAYS be created by someone on the HR Tech Team) One-Time Payment EIB with Coverage Period V27 – this version is used if you want to include Cost Center information when loading payments Select Request One Time Payment_V28 – if you don’t need to load Cost Center Note: You have to select the correct Integration depending on the template you are using ©2014 Trinity Health - Livonia, MI

You absolutely should always launch the EIB in Validation mode initially and until you have corrected all errors After attaching the file; go to Validation Mode Only and select the drop down and change to Specify Value and check the value box as indicated below and click OK ©2014 Trinity Health - Livonia, MI

You will click the Refresh button until the Percent Complete reaches 100% ©2014 Trinity Health - Livonia, MI

If you receive this error below, it is because you have most likely added an additional Sheet to the template or used the wrong version ©2014 Trinity Health - Livonia, MI

15 Launching the EIB in Validation Mode
Once the event reaches 100%, scroll to the bottom to check your processing history and/or errors. Open the failure report to review errors. Continue in validation mode until all errors have been resolved. ©2014 Trinity Health - Livonia, MI
