It’s about working with organisations
Survival of an organisation depends on business management knowledge
There will always be a need for people with business management training and the need for first line and middle managers continues.
Your effectiveness in any organisation – will depend on how adept you are at understanding the organisation you work in, and getting things done through it.
You will need good models of organising practices and processes, leadership, strategy, culture, managing change and innovation, understanding structure and politics to, corporate social responsibility – all within an international business environment – public and private sector… in financial, service and knowledge economies….
Organisations are among the most fascinating phenomena you can study.
Why do they even exist?
Why do they arrange the activity that goes on within and around them in the way they do?
Why is it that every organisation is different?
How do managers effectively make decisions, plan, organise and lead amidst all the ambiguity and complexity of these vast and confusing systems?
If you can understand organisations better you can be a high performing business man or woman….
Whether this is in the public or private sector, in SMES or large or MNCs….whether you become your own boss, self-employed, an entrepreneur, working for a large MNC, a professional service firm such as a management consultancy …..

When students go away on exchange, they will need to choose IB related classes. Subject leaders will guide through this.
Eligibility for Honours year is 55% pass across all subjects in years 2 & 3
The semester abroad is graded as either a ‘pass’ or ‘fail’ .

All first year IBML students are automatically registered on the Integrated Masters in IBML at the start of their studies. To be eligible for 5th year, students should have achieved a pass mark of 60% or above in years 1, 2 & 3. The year abroad is graded at ‘pass’ or ‘fail’ .
Students will study classes equivalent to 120 credits and at level 4 when abroad.
In level 5, the dissertation will be a Masters dissertation.
The pass mark for level 5 classes will be 50%.
Language classes currently available: Spanish, French, Italian, Mandarin and German.
Students who fail to achieve the required pass mark in year 4/5 will be automatically transferred to a BA single honours.
Year 4: Exchange year for IBML students (full year abroad) and come back to do year 5
Year 5: Compulsory class: Contemporary Issues and Trends in IB
