2 Changes for 2018 Participation Award (Bling only no Ribbon)
Skits and Patrol yells are scored for Top Patrol (Patrols that perform at the Campfire will receive a Ribbon) NEW! Webelos Camporee Weekend or Sat Day/Night Participate in own events Four (4) different wristbands Weekend Scout Weekend Webelos Weekend Adult Staff Top patrol and Top Troop are Separate

3 Oak Canyon Rules Vehicles: 15 MPH in Park Food Disposal & Grey Water

4 Registration Troop: $30 per person for weekend.
(includes Campsite, Events, Parking, Patch and Bling) EARLY REGISTRATION: $25 per person (adults and youth) for Toops that have done ALL of the following: Turned in their event information by March 22 Turned in Patrol List by April Roundatble Pay by April Roundtable

5 Webelos Camporall NEW for 2018! - Webelos Camporall event side-by-side with Scout Camporee this year. Webelos event has separate Registration and Payment. Webelos camping and events in separate area from Scout camping/events Webelos participation should not impact Scout participation in events.

6 Webelos as Guests Each Troop is encouraged to invite Webelos to the Camporee as their guest(s) to observe events. Webelos guests should not impact Scout participation in events Webelos are invited to the Campfire, Please come

7 Friday Check in Begins @ 4 pm (at the earliest)
Only Troop Gear may be driven in Park Only in designated areas Get cars out of campsite quickly then Check in SPL & Scout Master 9:00 PM at Headquarters. Webelos Leaders Meeting 9:00 PM

8 Saturday Schedule 4:00 PM ALL EVENTS END (NO EXCEPTIONS)
6:00 AM Reveille 9:00 AM Events Meeting 9:30 AM Opening Flag Ceremony 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM Morning Events, Trading Post Open and Gateway judging 12:00 - 1:30 PM Break for Lunch 12:30 - 1:30 PM Order of the Arrow Chapter Meeting / Ice Cream Social 1:30 - 4:00 PM Afternoon Events, Campsite Judging, Trading Post Open 4:00 PM ALL EVENTS END (NO EXCEPTIONS) 4:00 - 6:45 PM Free time / Dinner Suggested camp break-down for Saturday departures 6:45 PM Order of the Arrow begins collecting units for Campfire Roads CLOSED to traffic to allow safe foot traffic 7: :00 PM Campfire Program 11:00 PM Lights out - Quiet time until Reveille

9 Gateway Judging Will take place Saturday morning Built By Youth only
No Adult Help – Except when it comes to Safety Written Plan (major point item) Part of Top Troop Starts at 10:00 AM

10 Campsite Judging Three Levels (Gold, Silver and Bronze)
Inspection will take place Saturday after lunch Downloadable inspection sheets are on the website ( Part of Top Troop Starts at 1:30 PM

11 Points Awarded Toward Top Troop
Running an Event Themed Event Gateway Campsite % of patrols earning participation (bling) Skit, song, or yell prepared for campfire Accurate Timely Registration Survey (due at Campfire) Top Troop and Top Patrol awards will be passed out at the May round table. If possible, will pass out Top Patrol at Sunday morning assembly

12 Thematic Events Still Need Troops to Sign Up Focus is on Participation
Ribbons for 1st – 3rd Place Scores 1st-5th (Need 1st – 7th turned in by judges) Troops can place in their own event if it is a skill based event 5 minute mercy rule

13 Early Departure If your Troop or anyone in your Troop must leave before Campfire they should pack and check out before 6:45 PM We encourage all to please stay for the Campfire. The road will be closed during Campfire No Saturday check out after 6:45 PM

Event Awards Announced (patrols/dens are encouraged to stand and cheer) Skits / Songs (3 min. max) Yells OA Call Out (Scouts called out to stay after for meeting) All ribbons will be in check out packet (Sunday check out)

15 Campsite Rules & Information
GENERATORS Must be off during “lights out” times, Intent is no noise. If we can’t hear it, then it meets the rule No OPEN FIRES (even if there is a ring) Bring own tables and shade structures Cooking: (off the ground) First Aid: Troops must supply and display first aid kits in their campsites, with medical forms. Trash (large dumpster, no hot coals)
