2 Diamond Logic(R) Electrical System
Progressive Shift Default Parameters Parameter Default Min Max Fuel Economy Performance LOW GEAR RATIO BREAK POINT 5.0 78 3RD, 4TH, or 5TH LOW GEAR ENGINE SPEED LIMIT 1400 600 2200 1500 LOW GEAR ENGINE SPEED RANGE 400 200 HIGH GEAR RATIO BREAK POINT 2.5 5 5th, 6th, or 7th HIGH GEAR ENGINE SPEED LIMIT 1600 HIGH GEAR ENGINE SPEED RANGE The high gear ratio break point defaults to 2.5, so any gear with a LOWER gear RATIO will be included in the HIGH range. These gears will be limited to 1500RPM at low loads, plus an additional 400RPM at higher loads. We’ve put together suggested parameters for customers concerned primarily with fuel economy. Notice the lower range allowed for engine loads, which will require the driver to shift gears sooner even under heavy loads. For customers who want to allow more performance out of the engine, higher RPM limits and operating ranges are suggested. Sales Presentation
