2. Kolarctic CBC Projects 2014-2020
Big infrastructure projects were approved by Kolarctic Program. They are related to
reconstruction of the Lotta road linking the Murmansk Region with Lapland, Kirkenes (Norway) and Finland
reconstruction of the Raja-Jooseppi crossborder point on the Russian-Finnish border.

3. Kolarctic CBC Projects 2014-2020
18 projects have received Kolarctic financing including:
Barents on Time (BoT)
Kolarctic Food Refining CBC Project – KFR
Reindeer Meat – Quality High
“Arctic Food Tourism Experiences” was not financed yet, but we still hope!

4. The VIII International Conference “Mining Industry of the Barents Euro-Arctic Region—View to the Future” • IMIC BEAR – 2018 will be organized on November 2018
The Conference topic: “Modernization of Mining, Chemical and Metallurgical Enterprises Aimed at Integrated Development of the Mineral Resource Base”
Finnish companies have a good opportunity to move to the next stage of cooperation by placing their production at the territory of Kirovsk city, where the special preferential tax conditions are created by the Government of Russia.

5. Investment perspectives of localization of Russian and foreign enterprises for manufacturing of mining service equipment and techniques at the territory of Kirovsk city of the Murmansk Region

6. Kirovsk - Territory of Advanced Social and Economic Development
The residents of the Territory of Advanced Social & Economic Development (TOSER in Russian) will obtain the following competitive advantages:
tax benefits (rate of profit tax paid to the Federal budget is 0%, rate of the profit tax paid to the regional budget is reduced to 5%, exemption from payment of corporate property tax and land tax);
reduction of tariffs of insurance payments to state off-budget funds (from 30% to 7.6%).
