Morning, afternoon and evening classes available Must have own transportation MUST be enrolled in 4 IRHS classes in addition to the JTED class Head to for program information and to enroll for school year Any questions? 10 FIRST HOUR CONTRACT Print off Contract on Counseling website and fill it out along with parent signature Must have own transportation and a valid student parking permit Attach First Hour Contract to Course Request form and turn in on February 12th in the computer lab Classes may be cancelled due to insufficient enrollment The contract does not guarantee you will receive a first hour class in your schedule

13 WRITING 101/102 AT PCC Register online at www.pima.edu
Take reading and writing assessments at PCC and test in to Writing 101 Be sure to include English 12 on your course request form until you have signed up for WRT 101/102 courses Courses must be scheduled outside Ironwood Ridge school day

Peer to Peer Leadership Class (Life Skills Class) Are you interested in developing leadership skills and learning about students with disabilities? Are you wanting to work together in an integrated, positive way to promote socialization, independence, and strong friendship bonds that last throughout high school and beyond? We have the class for you! For more information, talk to your counselor or Mrs. Sigl in Room A115 or Mrs. Watkins in Room A116

15 SUMMER SCHOOL INFORMATION
Online summer school through Mesa Distance Learning (MDLP) will be free this year Registration dates will be announced soon In person summer school will be held at CDO Dates and times to be announced Listen to the announcements for information Talk to your counselor about what you are thinking of taking during summer school!

18 WHAT CAN YOU BE DOING NOW TO PREPARE FOR SENIOR YEAR AND BEYOND?
Figure out courses for next year Begin taking the SAT/ACT this spring and summer Go on college visits Research colleges to find admission requirements Does the college you are interested in require a certain GPA? Do you need an additional year of a language, math? Scholarships, scholarships, scholarships!!
