8. Stanley Masons Level Mason level is used for Brick, Rock and CMU (Concrete Masonry Unit) Block leveling. These levels are more expensive and built for masonry use. 11. Using Levels Break class into groups, assign levels to groups Provide a map of classroom, shop or other objects. Have student go to different locations on map and check for level and plumb. Provide an answer sheet for them to use. Have some objects intentionally out of plumb and level, this sheet can be used for a daily grade. Ask and answer questions during this portion of the lesson.
