CrossMab (where Mab representative of Monoclonal Antibody) is a novel format of BsAbs derived from independent parental antibodies. This new technique can be used to produce a bispecific antibody (BsAb) with antibody domain exchange based on knobs-into-holes (KIH) method. This “crossover” keeps the antigen- binding affinity and also preserves the two different arms in order to avoid light- chain mispairing. In comparison with natural antibodies, CrossMAbs show higher stability.
