There can be delay during the presentations. 1 Scenario Scenario 1: Improving hygiene Peter is 16 years old and living together with his mom. Its usually Peters mother who reminds him when he needs to take a bath. Peter is soon getting his own apartment and would like to manage the task by himself. The HANDS tool could be used to remind Peter on when to take a bath and how to do it.

There can be delay during the presentations. 2 Solution Solution: Improving hygiene 1.Pedagogical consideration: Collaborate with his mother to find out at what time Peter takes his shower. 2.Pedagogical consideration: Talk with Peter to find out if he knows where to soap. If possible create of a step-by-step instruction together with Peter. 3.Operation on CoMe: Create an intervention to prompt the child to look at their PT on How to take a bath 4.Operation on CoMe: Create a PT that the child can access guiding them through step- by-step on How to take a bath. You could even take photos with the child of the situation or objects. 5.Operation on CoMe: Create a reward for completing the task and set goals with the child. 6.Pedagogical work: Practice with the child. It can be practiced in real life or you can just support the pupil on finding the PT on the mobile. Duration: 1 hour practicing and taking photos + 30 minutes on CoMe.

To add a new intervention: click on add intervention at the bottom of the screen 4. Give your shell intervention a name (something like showering) and allocate start and end dates. 5. If you want the prompt to make a sound make sure you tick the speaker icons. 6. Save your intervention.

Decide if you want a question prompt (such as: Do you know its bathingtime?) or a string prompt (such as: Its time for my bath ) and fill in the message 8. Click on the PT drop down list and select the PT that you have created so it appears after the child is prompted on the phone. 9.Fill in the rest of the details and then click Add. 10.You will need to create two separate prompts for the morning and the evening.

There can be delay during the presentations. 10 Tips 1.What is an appropriate support on the phone for one child may not be appropriate for another child. 2.Inform other teachers what does and doesnt work on one of the networks: school meetings, moodle or facebook group. 3.Question prompts are useful as you can assess how the child is progressing and it is more interactive for the child.
