4. TYPES OF ORGANIZATION 1. LINE ORGANIZATION: usually use in a small
organization. Authority acts as the top manager and commands all subordinate tasks
2. STAF ORGANIZATION: the function of staff is to give advice, in practice there isn’t any pure staff organization
3. LINE AND STAFF ORGANIZATION: consider as the best organization. It has a straight line co- ordination from the top manager to the lowest one, and also there is a co-ordination with the staff as adviser or expert

TERRITORY ORGANIZATION: as an organization, the state is bounded by a certain region which is the jurisdiction of the organization (grondgebied) FUNGTIONAL: as an organization, the state is bounded by a certain function or duty related to functional (zakengebied) and certain people (personnengebied)
