Media: the different mediums for channeling and storing information and data.
Mass Media: means of communication meant to reach a large population through various mediums.
Journalism: is the practice of investigating and reporting events, issues and trends to mass audiences through print, broadcast and online media (University of North Carolina).

Society of Professional Journalists- Members of the Society of Professional Journalists believe that public enlightenment is the forerunner of justice and the foundation of democracy. According to the 1948 Universal Declaration of Human Rights, “Everyone has the right to freedom or opinion and expression; this right includes freedom to hold opinions without interference and to seek, receive, and impart information and ideas through any media and regardless of frontiers.”
