Formative work (homework, classwork - work that forms our understanding of the concepts) = 30% of the final grade
Summative work (test, projects, formal writing pieces – work in which students demonstrate their mastery of the concepts) = 70% of the final grade
Mid-Year and End of Year Assessments will be given during exam times; however, scores will be included as part of the 3rd and 6th card marking grades.
