8 Transportation Elite Familiarisation – Thursday 1st March - Shuttles will be arranged from official hotels to the race village departing 1hr before the familiarisation at 9:30am. Return shuttles from the race village to the official hotels will run from 12:30-13:00 Race Day – Friday 2 March - Shuttles will be arranged from official hotels to the race village departing 11:30. Return shuttles from the race village to the official hotels will run from the end of the event

Ride through the venue and the Transition Area Technical in some parts of the course, like the access to the tunnel, the exit of F1 course and going through the venue Two Wheel Stations Team WS approximately 50 m after exiting transition, on the left side Neutral WS at 2km inside F1 course (no disc brake wheels) Littering zones for the bike, after the neutral wheel station Lap Counter: at the end of the Transition Area Lapped athletes will be removed from the race. Last bike / first runner scenario can occur at the exit of F1 course

The Run Penalty Box is for infringements in Swim, TA1, TA2 or Run Course Location: Just before entering at the venue on the right side Notification: Number posted on the white board at the Penalty Box Procedure: second time penalty served on either lap of the run Failure to serve penalty = DSQ NOTE: It is your responsibility to check the board

25 Measurement of the course
One coach per NF can have access to the elite run course between 14:40 and 15:20 on Friday for measuring the course, escorted by the Chief Run Official Vests will be provided by the LOC. Please be at the Elite athletes’ lounge by 14:35 on Friday Registration is immediately after this Briefing on exit at the coaches’ accreditation distribution desk.

Section Explanation Comments 2.2.c) athlete assisting another athlete Self- explanatory 2.4.c) PPE From this year this is mandatory for all athletes. 2.5.g) Pro/elite athlete eligibility If an athlete races in WTS he automatically is excluded from racing AG in the same discipline. If an athlete is racing in WC/CC/CCH and his/her NF has not added him/her to the list, he/she is eligible to race AG in the same discipline.

Section Explanation Comments 2.7.b.(iv). 2nd bullet coming late or missing briefing but informed the TD will result a delay start Delayed start according to the time penalty of the race. These athletes will have to be at the end of the line up and on the pontoon you need to reserve equal block-spots to the penalized athletes. 2.11.g) the ITU Competition Jury and or the Head Referee cannot add or remove time of an athletes' penalty following a successful protest/appeal Self- explanatory 3.3.g).(ii).4th bullet point athletes' behaviour in case of a penalty Clarification 4.1.e) clarifications on swim conduct 4.10.a).(iii) if an athlete wish to wear a second swim cap must be unbranded Has to be checked during the athlete's lounge check in

Section Explanation Comments 5.2.i) disc brakes are allowed in all the competitions LOCs will not provide wheels with disc-brakes at the neutral wheel station. The athlete can leave the spare disc- brake wheels at the Team wheel station. 10.1.a) reduction on the number of athletes in the start lists 10.5 updates on accreditation distribution For all ITU events, the accreditedation for coaches and team medical will come from ITU (wristbands) 13.2 changes in the appeal process 27.9 proofs are needed for withdraw athlete The ITU MD needs to approve the medical proof, in races with no ITU MD, the TD has to seek cooperation of the LOC MD.
