At the roundabout turn right down Goldborne Road, past the zebra crossing towards the Trellick tower entrance on the right. 8 Once Inside: Trellick Tower Roof
Tell the security guards you are there from King’s College. Go to 30th floor (top floor of building) Go to stair case opposite of lifts Go up the stairs Brown wooden door with red metal lock leads to the balcony where the LASMkIIs are installed Use long key to open door and lock behind you for security Adrian if anything suspicious is in the room. Equipment: LASMKII_29 Receiver and LASMKII_28 Transmitter: Silica should be clear Demod of LASMKII_29 should be about 400 (Weaker means misaligned LASMKII equipment if visibility is good) Wireless router Problems uncommon contact NUCLEUS or Tel: Power is sourced from the Roof of the tower: Go up the stairs and through the door on top Power cable drops down along the wall of the tower 9/20/2018

This is an alternative location for equipment if current site needs to be moved. To get to Roof #2 in Trellick Tower: Walk straight to right hand side past lifts, through hallway to stairwell Prop open stairwell door or you will be locked in and have to walk down stairwell. Unlock and re-lock door behind you with red lock. Lock door when leaving Lock behind you when leaving, take lift back down 9/20/2018

25 Trouble shooting All instruments: BLS: LASMkII digital (log files):
File is not transferred and received a missing file Check on ftp server for presence of file sometimes the internet connection is slow and the file transfer takes longer than the gap to the grab; this is especially true for the hourly files Computer is offline (LOGMEIN – see instructions computer list on web TeamA): Wait for a couple of hours; again the internet connection might be the problem BLS: If the computer or SPU needs to be restarted, the hard drive of the SPU needs to be reconnected: start SRun and connect the SPU -> click button Connect and use SPU > In the menu click on Tools and then Browse Files on device -> You should now be able to open the drive from ‘My computer’ LASMkII digital (log files): The Evation Software sometimes crashes and produces errors; in this case no data are logged anymore: close Evation (if necessary force the program to stop) restart computer Make sure you activate automatic logging under logger in Evation software LASMkII analog (txt files): There sometimes are problems with the connection between the logger: restart Loggernet If this does not help restart computer Missing Data: Can be transferred using pscp: Move files into the C:\MissingFiles folder if there are subdirectories for the individual instruments use these Copy all files that you want to transfer into a folder Run upload.bat file in the folder 9/20/2018
